Jeanine Botta

Jeanine Botta, MPH lives in New York City and works as a legal administrative assistant. As an activist, she has researched, written, and presented on acoustic vehicle alerts since 2012, and advocated and testified in favor of testing vehicle noise cameras in New York City since 2016. Jeanine serves on the Technical Committee on Noise within the Acoustical Society of America, and served as board secretary for the Right to Quiet Society for Soundscape Awareness and Protection. Jeanine was a cofounder and cochair of the Committee on Noise and Health within the Environment Section of the American Public Health Association from 2016 through 2018, and she contributed to revision of the APHA policy statement Noise as a Public Health Hazard.
