In March 2015, TAB’s sports complex in Torrance, CA was the first in the nation to become an AGZA-certified Green Zone™. “Having a green zone is great for the kids and the baseball community, and it’s also great for the surrounding environment because it means no fumes, no air and soil pollution, and nearly no noise pollution. We are aware that our baseball fields are positioned in people’s backyards and now the entire community can benefit from this,” said Joe Gaffney, TAB president.
